I fired this piece at Fireside Pottery in Warren, Maine while being mentored by Nancy Button. Cone 10 reduction firing limits oxygen in the kiln, allowing iron and other materials in the clay and glaze to flux, deepen, and develop complex surface variation. This jar was from our 2nd firing together. I am so eager to keep gaining confidence with firing cone 10 kilns.
